    Forgot to post these too - got too excited about the shake!

    * BLAT - bacon lettuce avocado tomato sammies
    * Avocado maki rolls (sushi)
    * Avocado corn salsa
    * Brushetta w/diced avocado
    * Use thin slices to top a burger (beef patty or chicken breast)

    I also just mash it up in the shell with salt & pepper, sometimes a splash of fresh citrus juice and then spread on toast or crackers.

    chicken tortilla soup
    11% gross to retirement
    10% takehome to tithe and offerings
    emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
    freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

    i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

    My dad's tree is busting with them too. Yesterday I made Paula Deen's Avocado Chicken salad for dinner, it's one of our favorites. Also, you could try them grilled. Cut them in half and remove the pit but don't peel. Put them face down on the grill for a couple of minutes then fill the cavity from the pit with pico de gallo or salsa, a little black beans and top with shredded cheese then put back on the grill just long enough to melt the cheese a little. Top with a little sour cream and eat it right out of the peel.
