    Default potato plant pic and question

    Can someone tell me what are these small round bulbs are on my potato plants?

    Seeds. Let them ripen and plant and you will have a new strain of potato. The result is not clones of the plant but some long distant relative and usually of inferior quality. By careful selection new strains of potato are developed.

    ooops!! I already pulled this plant up. I will check to see if I have more on the other plants.
    Should I worry about it since it is inferior?

    Producing seeds on the potato plant has no effect on the bottom tubulars. Not all plants produce seeds. The seeds should not be ingested due to solanine present.

    They may be planted to close to your tomatoes...
