green bean issues

I have green beans growing still. I planted late in the season. For some reason, I don't have the time period of how long it will take to have
green beans. They are 1/2 runners. I have plenty of vines but no green beans. I am thinking that runner beans are too much and maybe a bush bean will be better. Can you give me some advice as to which is better? bush vs runner beans. Any ideas of when I should start having green beans?

I'm not familiar with your growing zone or when you planted but Pole Beans can be procrastinators. They can lag and lag but once they start they will really take off. Bush Beans will produce faster but usually not as much as the Poles. I say give them a little more time.

ok.....I will give them more time. They are growing like crazy. They are climbing everywhere. I live in Zone 7....in Virginia. I expect the weather to cooperate until Oct at least.
