How do you safely deworm a chicken? Today I noticed that my rooster has a small green abcess underneith one of his eyelids and it had a small amount of bubbly fluid coming out. Is this more than likely caused by a worm or is it possible that he could he been impaled by something in his eye that caused an infection? I bought a bottle of dewormer, but do I need to break open the abcess?
