~These are very cool! I knew you could grow directly in the bags of potting soil mixes but these just look better. Especially for making curved borders and beds. I wonder if these are made of t-shirt material?~

Thanks for posting this. It does look like it is a t-shirt material.
Can you imagine how much more you can plant with these? I have sidewalks, pathways, and could even throw a couple into the rose garden, I have alot of hard to plant areas.Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

Haven't tried them...........will be interested to see if anyone here has tried them.
It says that they are "mesh material"........look sort of neat.
Our garden centers sell a very narrow black mesh..........think it is nylon (or some sort of plastic?)..........wonder if that is what it is.
My concern would be the black material and cooking the roots when they couldn't go deeper for cooler ground.

to me they look like black tights. I was wondering if I could get some black thigh high tights and do the same thing.

I do mostly soil bag planting and container planting. I have lots of success with it.
