I love your gardens Durgan! I wish we were closer- I cannot image your neighbors turning up their noses at your goodies.( On second thought, I guess I can. If you were handing out Snickers they would probably riot for a handout.)I appreciate all the tips I get.It has helped me with my own gardening tips. I want to become as independent on the supermarket for my food and supplies as possible. It is such a wonderful adventure. My elderly neighbors seem to get the most delight out of my garden surplus.

I planted a small kiddie-pool garden and was pleasantly rewarded with its turn out. This year I'm moving and plan to have a small garden at the new house next year.

I like your idea Durgan, and although you may be a small voice in the wilderness, just like the birds that are singing in the wilderness there are some of us still listening and glad you are there.

I want to get setup this time for what to do with the abundance before it arrives. I was a bit caught off guard when my garden started to produce faster than I had planned.

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.

I think it is very odd of your neighbors to turn up their noses at offered produce. Our friends, family and coworkers are always saying they will take all we can give them.

Hey, one of my neighbours doesn't even eat vegetables. I never give anything away unless it is perfect. Damaged or inferior produce gets thrown out.

Don't forget people have to want something, and this might not coincide with the time that one wants to get rid of it.
