My 2015 Garden Journal
It's strange to think it's almost the Spring Equinox and I still haven't been able to get into my garden as of yet. (I have a plot in a local community garden.) We had a big snow storm at the beginning of the month (had somewhere between 6 to 8 inches). The snow has since melted away, with the exceptions being the large mountains of snow in various mall parking lots. We're supposed to get more snow tomorrow (the Equinox itself). Sigh. But at least I have a bunch of seeds and I'm ready to plant. I do need to get into the garden and start prepping the soil. We're still going through the usual spring freeze/thaw cycle though. It's another late spring this year, it seems. But I keep looking at my garden on my way to and from work. I'll feel a lot better once I get back into the garden.

DH always starts some plants indoors which I think satisfies his urge to dig in the dirt before it's warm enough to plant outside.

I live in a small apartment so I don't have enough room to start some plants inside. The books have taken over... But it should be soon... I hope.
So I've been contenting myself with stopping in over at Lowe's for twine and stuff like that in the mean time.
I also saw seed potatoes being sold in a couple of different places (both at Lowes and a grocery store). I'm thinking of picking up some mesh to put the potatoes in so they grow up, rather than horizontally.
