Since I've gotten back into gardening, I have read about gardening by the phases of the moon. The Farmer's Almanac offers some advice on this topic on their website. For example, it says that today and tomorrow are good times to plant root crops (assuming it's warm enough to do that in your area). There are days when it says not to plant at all (aka "barren days").

So my question is, does anyone here plant by the phases of the moon? If so, what's your take on it? Are you successful (e.g., do the plants fare better if you do vs. if you don't)?
