Default C.J. - Have you read this?

I have NO idea where I'm surposed to post this? LOL.

Anyway I'm hunting on eBay (very dangerous!)

    I found this book:

Pioneer Women: Voices from Kansas Frontier

I'm 'surposed' to be saving money but I REALLY fancy reading this

I was thinking I might be able to get a review BEFORE I buy LOL

Supposedly my family (moms side) is in that book! I need to get a copy of it when I find some extra money! I have read it a couple of times, and I love it each time!

I have read it--good read! Bev do you have free public libraries in the UK? I know, as a library employee, I SHOULD know this, but I don't! If so, check it out before you buy it. That way, if it's not something you consider a keeper, you're not out anything.

Some countries have subscription libraries; does the UK have those? Sorry, I am not trying to be nosy, but I am verrrry curious!

I'm not sure if we have subscription librays??? I've never heard of them? So I'm guessing probably not.

We do have a free libray and they have just spent millions doing it all up and it's huge, having said that last time I went in they didn't have a single book I was looking for!

Being really patient deficent I asked if it would be quicker for them to tell me what they did have And then I felt bad afterwards so I haven't been back since LOL.

Anyway I just got this book on eBay for the first bid, I can't wait for it to come!
