Hello ladies! Since this is the first spring that Malcom and I have been in the house I'm really wanting to plant beautiful flowers for our front yard. I can't do the backyard yet....if you remember last year the 6 month clean up project for our backyard. Anyway, we don't have grass in the back yet so I'm not too concerned with sprucing it up just yet so I will focus on the front for now.

My question or questions are these.....

This is our first weekend of spring here in VA (Norfolk). Is it too soon to start planting flowers/plants? Should I wait a little longer? What about the grass? When should I put more seed down and fertilize? Someone mentioned on the news this morning about putting something down that makes your grass green???It wasn't fertilizer they were talking about - it was something else.

I know it's so many questions but I don't have a green thumb at all and need all the help I can get! Thanks ladies!
