    Default this is my kitchen

I was taking some other pics and thought you might like to see my kitchen. Here it is in all its glory. As you can see I'm not a minimalist. I like things that I use to be out on the bench. We have a built in stove top and the microwave and oven are built in on the right hand side. Next is the pantry and next to it, the fridge. The window looks out onto the vegie garden, the chicken shed behind it and the rain forest behind that. It's a nice kitchen to work in. When we bought this house we ripped out the original kitchen which was peach coloured and tiny. We blocked off a doorway and had this kitchen installed - which I designed, so I have everything that I want in the place I want it. Even when lots of people are here the women can get in the kitchen and help out. We've had Dh's 60 birthday bash here, my 50th was a huge party and both my sons had their 21st birthday parties and the kitchen helped us churn out the food and drink.

    What's your homestead kitchen like?

Hopeing that mine will be similar, except for the breakfast counter... I want a double sided glass cabinet, over my breakfast counter, as it looks into the living room
    Very nice,

I love our kitchen. My last house had white kitchen cabinets and a dark counter like you have. I have a tile floor but loved the clean look.

Wow, I'm drooling! I love your kitchen. Mine is tiny, dark and if you get more than 1 person in it at a time, you are literally falling over each other.

I love the layout of your kitchen! Everything is easy steps away & room for others to come play in the kitchen with you.
My kitchen is 1/2 the size but it's nice to work in, lol. I do wish an eating area was added to it. We did over the porch and made it into our eating area. I'd love one the size of yours to have people "help" me make dinner while we visited.
PS~ This helps me with the potholder swap in Homestead Gardens.

Oooh I love it Bethany! It's beautiful. My kitchen is a tad bit smaller but has a lot of counter space for the square footage of it.

I love your kitchen Bethany, very nice. I love your cupboards and the flooring. My kitchen isn't very large, a bit smaller than yours. Wish it had a bit more cupboard space.

I'll clean and take a pic of mine tomorrow. I have dark green "marble-looking" counters (bench) Lots of cabnits, And I have decorated alot of the kitchen in a chicken theme. I have lots more to do to get it just right.

Yours is beautiful, very cheery, and looks like you have alot of room!!

Beautiful Bethany! My hubby has recently renovated mine, it's not as big as yours but at last I have a lovely kitchen with plenty of cupboard and drawer space and benchtops!
Will see about sending some photo's in!
