    She's a year- last spring was the first time we've done chickens. Our hens doesn't have names (it's not like I can really tell them apart anyways). But we also did broilers, and they were jokingly named KFC, Boston Market (the names of chicken fast food restaurants), oven stuffer.... LOL

    Actually, there was only one we named- one of our broilers got attacked by the other chicks when she was about a week old and they hurt her leg really bad and she always limped, so instead of eating her, we kept her and named her Gimpy. But unfortunately, one day in Feb, DH went out to the hen house one afternoon and something had gotten to her and killed her. She was cool while we had her, you could go and pet her, pick her up. I think she thought she was a cat instead, LOL.
