Good morning Danielle and everyone to follow.
Well last night I got a burst of energy and decided to clean my oven, my stove and all my counter tops. Dh and I pulled out the stove and I washed the walls behind the stove and he washed the floor for me. My stove now looks brand new. If I ever get another stove, it will have a self-cleaning oven.
Today will be a quiet day here. I need to do the papers, then later we need to make a trip into the city. Once I'm back, I plan on quilting. I only have 6 rows left to do and I'd like to get them done today if possible. Then its going to be the border and sashing. I've never done the sashing the way they are asking, so its going to be interesting to see how it turns out.
Tonight, will end up playing cards with the kids and dh.
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon everyone!

Danielle and CJ, you both sound so busy!
Today we slept in and missed going to church. Both my back and Jeff's were bugging us after spending hours scraping and sanding down the deck furniture so they would be ready for painting today. Jeff got the furniture all painted and it looks beautiful. He also worked out in the driveway and got it evened out so that we can put the gravel down when it finally arrives sometime this week. I went up to the graveyard and took pictures of the headstones of some of the ancestors and relatives of some friends of ours that now live in Montana. They just happened to find out that the grandfather of one of them used to live here as a child. Small world.
.
The boys' friend from Colorado is leaving today so he came over to play some basketball and say goodbye. I'm really going to miss him, he's like another son to me.
Still have more laundry to do today and some work in the garden, but I'm taking it easy on my back. Jeff is so afraid I am going to hurt it again and be in pain for quite awhile. I had a really hard time even moving this morning and could not bend over well at all.
We may go swimming up at the pool later. The weather is perfect for it.
Be blessed!!!

Good evening everyone! A quick check in before bed.
We had some rain today and the temperature was quite a bit low than the past week or so. I took advantage of the cooler weather and after coming home from church I baked 4 loaves of bread and 2 dozen applesauce muffins(your recipe CJ
).
I also got hamburger patties and macaroni salad made for tomorrow's supper as dh and I won't be around. We're working the elections tomorrow and it's going to be a very long day. We'll be getting up around 5am, at work by 6:15, polls open at 7 till 7pm, and if everything balances we should be finished counting by 9pm. I'm sure we'll be ready for bed when we get home. I'm praying I won't have to deal with any sibiling problems when we get home.
I'm off to bed to study my manual for a few more minutes and then lights out. "See" you all on Tuesday.~ Tina ~

Good morning everyone. Its election day in our Country, so from 5:30 p.m. on you won't be seeing much of me. I'm going to be glued to the tv, and by the looks of things, I'll be up late has the election won't be decided probably until the B.C. votes come in. I'm hoping thats what it really is like. Its usually decided with the Ont. votes and our western votes seldom count. Not this time, I don't think.
Up until then, I need to do:
~deliver papers
~do the border on dgds quilt. I finished the rows last night around 9:30. Once the border is on, I need to do the sashing. I've never done a pattern like it calls for, so it should be interesting.
~I also need to do some gardening at the lodge
Hope everyone has a great day. Tina enjoy the time spent with voters!!!

I'm too sick to even think about doing much around here. I have an appointment to see my doctor at 2:00, and I have to get a copy of my son's birth certificate from the records place in Springfield, later today. I've managed to lose his somewhere along the way.
If I get any energy at all today, I'll be cleaning house- since around 50 people will be here next Sunday.

Hi everyone.
I'm not coming back till I finish dejunking my office. Sorry but it has to be done. The only way I'll do it is if I put some penality on myself. I started it yesterday and will work on it today.

Denise~praying you get to feeling better quickly

Bethany~please don't get lost in all that office junk, we'll have to send our Caped Crusader down to dig you out.
Tina and CJ~praying that your election results come out the way that you want them too!
Another busy day here. I had to run Josh into Moscow to get a new amp cord and then run Chris over to Pullman for his doctor's appointment. Good news on that front, it's growing pains and his doing his knee exercises wrong that are causing the increase in his knee pain. Hopefully in 6-9 months this will be behind us.
Jaysn, bless his heart, stayed home while we ran into town and mowed the front and back lawns and did the laundry. He volunteered to do so. What a great kid!!!
I was going to paint the railing today but hubby said they needed more sanding down so I'll have a the boys finish that since it was their job to begin with. Chris and Josh also have their Math to finish. Chris and Jaysn are pet sitting and Josh has a lawn to do today also. Later this afternoon we are going over for band practice at our friends' home in the next town over. They were away on vacation and just got back from the Grand Canyon! I can't wait to see the pictures.
Hoping to get to bed early tonight after a swim in our town's pool. It was closed yesterday and we were all so bummed!
Have a blessed day!

Well HI everybody!!!! I'm BAAAAACK! I'm doing laundry and catching up. I'll talk more tomorrow I hope. Dh left for an overnight trip this morning, I drove him to work, voted, came home and am cleaning and catching up.
dd is home sick with a cold, I parked her on the couch snoozing.
I made a jug of homemade iced tea (just tea, chilled) and am adding saccharin to taste to make a pretty decent sugarless iced tea on ice cubes!
I'm not going to start my thyroid med till dh is home and my family dr is aware but I'm looking forward to this.
Happy Monday all!
Denise sending hugs, praying you feel better soon!
CJ and Tina, hoping you both enjoy the election day. Tina you will be exhausted I'm sure. I think there will be record turnouts everywhere. A real horse race right to the finish. Better than a close hockey game.

heheheheh I'm wondering too! http://www.cbc.ca/canadavotes/leader...erleaders.html is CBC's take on the various fringe parties.
here are the big 4 who will be making most of the news, and gaining the majority of the votes. http://www.cbc.ca/canadavotes/leader...rs/index.html#

I have to say after reading about all of the people running for office that there are some "interesting parties".
Heck, I find those here in America too when our voter's pamphlets come out. So many of the smaller political parties candidates are ones I have never heard of. I'll be looking for updates on your elections!!!

Good morning everyone, sorry I went missing for a few days but my aunt died very unexpectedly and I had to leave town. I got back home late last night. I'm a bit frazzled and worn out but I have lots to do, my dil is coming over to help pick the last of the peas this morning and those will need to be taken care of. I also have some broccoli that needs to be blanched and frozen, and don’t even get me started on the laundry! It's just good to be back home; I am not one that likes to be gone form home for any length of time. I hope all of you have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Well I'm still fit to be tied about the election. First, once again Ont. pretty much decided what the outcome was. In fact, CBC declared a minority government shorty after Ont. polling closed. Drives me nuts. Its like our votes in the west don't really count. Second, CBC showed the results across Canada before the voting was even finished across Canada. Normally there is a "black-out" in each province until the polls close. Not this time. And thirdly, within another year, there will probably be another election all over again. It was such a negative election this time, but probably brought more interest and fiestiness in Canadian politics than it has been for a very long time. And yes Debbie, we did have a few "strange" ones running for parliament. But thats what makes it so interesting!!!!
Farmlady, nice to have you back. So sorry to hear about your aunt.
Denise, hope your feeling better soon.
Bethany, come out from all that junk. We miss you here. If you need to have a penalty, just don't eat.
Don't stay away too long, okay.
Today I plan on:
~delivering my papers
~driving to the library to return 2 videos
~working on border for dgd's quilt. Its taken me 3 tries before I've gotten it figured out. Of course, after 2 tries, I decided to read the instructions and found out all the 3 1/2 inch squares I had left over from the quilt, needed to be cut down to 3 3/8 size. Now why they didn't show that right up front is beyond me. Sometimes the quilting instructions are like the sewing ones, poorly done.
~finish organizing the kitchen. Its looking much better, but still some work to do on it.
~do about 1/2 hr. at the lodge gardening. Last night when I arrived, one of the ladies came out and said, "when your finished, you come in for cake". It was just too cute. She didn't ask if I wanted to or even had time to. It was come in. She is a sweetie though and I enjoyed the 1/2 hr. spent with her.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning!
Today laundry is hung on the line and it looks like rain, oh well, a little extra rinse! I am getting some bags ready to be picked up tomorrow. A charity comes around every 6 weeks and I always have something for them!
This afternoon is errand time, I will be going to do some grocery shopping, check the consignment store and pick up my $$, and shopping for a new anti-virus program for the computer.
I walked through the garden first thing this morning and everything is up except the beets. I love going up and down the rows and looking at nature's way! I planted some miniture roses at the end of some of the rows and they are looking pretty!
Tonight is early bed....I've been going to bed a bit too late (and the kids) and find it harder to get up in the morning. I like to get a good start on the day.
Have a wonderful day ladies!
