Default have you named your home?

We've just named ours "Forest Home". We thought it suited our home because we live in Forestdale Road and we have a forest behind us. We had a name plaque made and it sits on the front of the house near the front door.

I was talking to my cousin the other day and she told me that the original homestead owned by our great grandfather was called --- yep, you guessed it, Forest Home. Freaky!

Have you named your home? If so, what name did you choose, and why. And if you haven't, what name would you like to name it?

We call ours Smith's Cottage Place.

Everyone else in town calls it "The Brigg's Place". Thats because Briggs owned it before us. If we ever sell it, it will then be called "The Smith's Place". Too funny!!

Our's is Simplicity Meadow-- we came here looking for a simpler way of life, hence simplicity--- and meadow, cause that's what it is.

My parent's farm is Serendipity Hills- Serendipity "the silver lining behind the clouds" because our house burned to the ground and we moved into that house without actually owning it (it was that or be homeless) They got the farm and it turned out to be so much better than the house that had burned. Hills--- well, most of the farm is timber due to all the rolling hills.
