OK You KNOW you are a bit too country when your friend phones to say bon voyage for your plane trip, and you tell her you can't pack the bug spray cause it's an aerosol, and she says

You can so, you can pack mousse on the plane

but what I heard was MOOSE

and what I said was

No you can't; moose isn't an aerosol!!!!!

YES it IS an aerosol!!!

NO it's not!!!!

by then I'm getting a foggy glimmer of an idea, but collapse laughing too hard to explain.

she meant mousse as in hair mousse

and I meant moose as in moose meat from the freezer.

And for anyone who hasn't gathered this yet, I'm off to my sister's place in the boonies by Terrace, out at the end of the powerline, on the way to Kitimat.

Be back on the 23rd.

Unless it's mousse.

Yup, country gal for sure. I would have been thinking the exact same thing....moose are what we avoided running into on our way to and from work!
