Spring Fever

Boy oh boy do I got it! I took my medication today and spent the next couple of hours uncovering the flower beds, a little dizzy and stumbling but I had a blast.

Any one else feeling the same way? I just love to watch the plants grow and bloom. Not so much as in food, but I did spend a great deal of my life picking potato bugs, lol. I think I was just cheap labor. I have even almost got a hankerin' to stack some wood, not!

Roses, Roses, Roses--I just planted 4 on the driveway side of the house, there's veggies in the back yard and there will be annuals and echinatia flowers in the front yard. Also bought a double sided shepards staff this week to go next to the front walkway.

Sunflowers are my favorites. I have several different varieties growing in the back yard. I also love wildflowers and I have some beautiful flowers coming up in my wildflower garden. So far this year my wildflowers are all yellow or red. Very bright and cheery!
