Update on QuilterMom - Sept. 27th and does anyone have a specific coupon?

Here is today's update. Kim also needs this coupon if anyone has one. If you do, can you pm me and I'll make sure you get her address.

They are tried and frustrated and in shock over the devastation in her area......she says it is awful. Houses completely gone, water and flooding everywhere, boats in the road, power lines down everywhere, parts of the road gone........they feel very very blessed and fortunate to not have that kind of damage. Her roof seems fine.......as it was with Frances they have no electricity so seeing things clearly is difficult. Part of their fence is down and their water softener system that was on the back patio is not there anymore.....they found the lid to it but nothing else. They are under a boil water notice again and now have no phone, cable or electricity and they have no clue when any of those things will be restored. They are having to rely on the radio for information. Most of the information I found at her local newspaper's website had been given out on the radio so she knew most of it when we spoke.

They were busy trying to cut down what they could of that oak tree and Kim was dragging the pieces down to the road.......she had to wade through ankle deep water being very careful and watchful for snakes.........there are also lots of fish swimming around in all that water.......she says the only good thing about it is that the water is cold so it is keeping her cool!!!! LOL

She did mention something she is in need of........she needs a certain coupon.....it is for apple juice.......it is called Apple and Eve brand juice and it has to say ORGANIC on it......she said there was a $1 coupon in the inserts from a few weeks ago.......Her little guy is going through the juice like crazy and she really needs to get more so if anyone has that coupon she would be thankful to get them!!!!

I'm happy to hear Kim and her family made it through another one and they are all safe. I'm sorry to hear of the damage to thier property.

I'll look for that coupon also. I just feel horrible for Kim and her family having to go through this yet again.

She has been in my prayers and will continue to be. Sorry no juice coupon, I guess we dont carry that brand around here as I have never heard of it.

This is horrible at any time, but its so sad especially now. Kim and her dh just purchased their dream homestead and have done so much work this past 6 months or so and now this. I can't imagine what she is going through.

We can be so thankful where we live that we don't have to go through hurricanes.

Thanks for the update Cj. I'm just so thankful that their home seems to be mostly intact and that they are ok, even though undoubtedly shaken. My heart just hurts for them. I don't have that coupon, wish I did.

sending love and prayers and lots of hugs to her from us CJ. I've been thinking of her every morning as the weather news continues to update on the devastation there.
