    Default my homestead spring garden

I know we don't usually post photos of our gardens here but Chriss asked me to take some photos of my garden so here is one. I will also post some of what I've just taken over at Homestead Garden later today.

In the foreground there is a swag of creamy peach day lillies, behind that, the blue flower is plumbago, the pink in the middle is impatiens, the tall green is queen anne's lace - it's not in full flower yet, the thing bending to the left is pink sage. The small white flowers are allysum, the mauve spikes are hollyhocks. Just beyond is my front gate and the pine trees growing across the road - no one lives there - YIPEE!!

Keep those pictures coming, I'm really going to need them as winter drags on & on here. Just beautiful, besides the pretty flowers, I love the varying shades of green.

Thank you Bethany, they are just beautiful. I agree with the other ladies, the leaves are off the trees here and the grass is turning brown. Soon everything will be covered with snow and deep cold. We could all use a breather of pretty flowers.

May I use this picture as wallpaper on my desktop? Pretty Please?

Of course you may, Chriss. I'd be honoured.
