Default I was going through my gardening journal

Many of my flowers didn't survive the transplant last November when we moved into our new home. We didn't get to move in in September like we were promised so my poor plants sat in tubs waiting for the move and they didn't fair well - I lost some rose bushes that I had had since I lived in Phoenix - they were over 15 years old. This one is the only one that actually performed - it is a jackson and perkins rose and I believe it was called perfect lady. I lost all six of my pink peace :weep: and both cupcakes and one fairy. Others survived but didn't really flower but perhaps they will be happier next year. After a summer of feeding and mulching and babying.

My spring bulbs all did well but I lost all of my cannas, my begonias, and my peonies - poor guys! Bruce doesn't really think money needs to be spent on plants - so its gonna be a long time before i get to replace my gorgeous babies. I also lost all of my raspberries and boysenberries and grapes.    But I guess i just need to cowboy up and fresh start my gardens!! My veggie garden sucked this year too - all I got was tomatoes and chilis and one pumpkin!!   (well, and sammee and Emilee got in there and ate all the corn - but it made them happy - they boinged around for days!!

I'm sorry Kimmee that you lost your beautiful flowers and plants! I hope you are able to find some nice neighbors and friends that are able to share some of their cuttings with you! If I had a garden I would send you something if I could!
