A freezing temps question...
It is supposed to get down to 3º tonight which is -29º for you celsius people - The dogs have been sleeping in the barn with the sheep or under the trampoline - they wont sleep in the dog house where I have a small heater for them and they won't come inside... They are 8 mos old and medium large sized - Do you think they will be Okay?? I know coyotes and wolves make it and these puppies were born outside in the spring - our wettest snowiest season (and sometimes the coldest) - the horse seems to be fine with it - she doesn't like to wear her blanket... even when its super cold.

Kimmee- I'm sure they will be ok. Animals have a way of "knowing" things. I'd check on them a couple time if you can before you go to bed. We have all our babies inside. With the exception of the chickens.

wow, that's cold, huh! Looks like you know your animals and they would let you know when they need help. My dog rosie barks once every 15 seconds when she's too hot, then I let her come inside and put the aircon on for her. Be guided by them, they know.
