Goat info?
We are considering on buying a goat for milk purpose, does anyone know a helpful site in picking breeds, feeding & caring tips? Thanks in advance!

In this months issue of Mother Earth News magazine (June/July 2002) their cover story is about raising goats for milk, goats for meat (their meat is actually better for you than chicken!) and how to make your own goat cheese. It talks about the different breeds and how to get started.
We are also considering doing this. I got a book off Amazon called Storey's Guide to Raising Dairy Goats by Jerry Belanger. It pretty much tells you everyhing you need to know.
Hope this helps!!

We have a goat farm. I don't really have any particular site I go onto. I usually just do a search for goat on the internet. Good luck with the goats. They are so comical and funny to watch. Especially the kids.

Did you get your goats yet?
I just love them. We take Zachary often to a farm to feed goats.
