are you growing any unusual plants?
I have three vanilla orchids. I doubt if I'll ever harvest vanilla beans from them, as they must grow to a great height before the start reproducing, but I like growing them and they look good.
Do you have any unusual plants?

Well, it all depends on what you mean by unusual. I don't have anything exotic.
But this year I am trying to grow echinops which will be totally new to me. My seed have germinated and I have a few little seedlings -- now I will start some more!~~Jean~~

I don't have anything truly unusual, either, but I am starting strawberries from seeds this year, which is a bit unusual. They are alpines, which are easy to start from seed.
I love alpines- they have a lot of flavor and remind me of the wild strawberries I used to pickin the farm fields with my great grandfather. They were so good with milk and sugar. Yum!
