Default We are starting our seeds for the garden!

I am so excited! We have planted the seeds in containers and will transplant them to the garden when they are ready.

We will be working on the garden this week. We have decided on the raised bed gardens instead of container gardening. We will have lots of free fertilizer...cow manure.

I didn't plant all the seeds and I am glad that I didn't after reading Rhonda's suggestion about planting more in 6 weeks after the first ones are planted.

I can't wait to reap the benefits of having my own garden.

You have all given me a wealth of information on gardening and I appreciate all of it!!

I can't wait to tell you when I get to pick my first vegetable!!

Michelle, I'm really excited that you're starting! I hope you find gardening as rewarding as I do. It's a wonderful, healthy activity for the whole family. I can't wait to see a pic of your first vegies.

    GO MICHELLE!

Very exciting! I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone grows this year.

I need to get out and harvest our parsley! There's a ton of it. My carrots and broccoli are coming along, along with some lettuce. Oh, and my tomato plants are dripping with little green tomatoes so hopefully those will continue to do well. My first planting of sugar snap peas are really doing well, too.

Sounds like you will be enjoying your vegetables soon Kim. I can't wait to have homegrown tomatoes. I could eat a tomato by itself.
