Question What kinds of fruits and vegetables are you growing this year?

We are growing tomatoes, zucchini, lettuce, cucumbers, strawberries, and raspberries.

**Edited to add: green peppers, chives, oregano, and I'm forgetting one other herb....will post later when I remember**

Mine is a small garden. I am growing one tomatoe plant, radishes, carrots, zuchinni, chives, and mint.

This is the second year I have a garden. Last year I had two tomatoe plants and two cucumber plants.

I am hoping next year to expand a bit more, if all is well.

We have lettuce, corn, peas, green beans, zuchinni, cucumbers and peppers. I also planted spinach and onions, but they didn't come up. I need to get some tomato plants out before it is too late.

I mostly have flowers planted this year, but I do have tomatoes, peppers and parsley growing. I'm thrilled to be doing gardening. When I was working I couldn't be bothered. I just do it in the early evening after dinner, and get DD's to watch the baby. My yard looks great and I want to keep going. I made a rock garden tonight. I hope to put in more veges next year.

My dh is a garden freak! We have sweet corn, zuchinni, cucumbers, pumpkins, watermelon, cantalope, turnips, radishes, peas, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers , jalepenos, onions. I think that's all. I'll be a canning/freezing freak this fall! I have no idea what to do with all the cucumbers. I already have several quarts of pickles!

We have cucumbers, radishes, jalenpo pepper and a volunteer squash plant that came back from last year's garden. We have a small garden so we don't have much room so I try to plant stuff that we will use. CAGmomof2, since you live in the south you can plant your turnips and collards as late as Sep. Collards get sweeter after a little frost. If you can start a compost pile immediately with grass clippings, vegetable scraps, etc., you should have something to put in your garden to improve your soil before then.

Thank you for the advice unfortunatly we have no top soil at all!!
When our home was put in all of our top soil was moved to the back of our home and then moved even further down a big slop in our back yard!! So I am really having to start all the way over in our yard to have in soil at all and to help things grow in our yard!! I can't even get flowers to grow in my yard !! It will take a little while so I am going to try an indoor garden this year with just some flowers and some herbs and some small vegetables!!
Thank you for your helpful advice and tips!!

Zuccini, cucumbers,3-4 types of tomatoes, jalepenios that are not looking real good, 4-5 herbs and strawberries-I just have a little patch going in the yard, then I have roses, vines, petunias and pansies in the front.
