    Default potting soil - a warning

    I want to warn all our gardeners here about a danger associated with bagged potting soil. The risk as been well known in Australia for some years now but it seems there have been a couple of cases in America, so I want you to be aware of the risk.

    Here is an American Public Health site.  It contains details about Legionnaires Disease, as well as recommendations for the safe use of potting soil.
