What a wonderful site, Darlene. I love bats, we have hundreds of them living in the line of trees along our creek. They fly off at dusk and make a nice squeeking sound.

I hate bats. I love that they eat mosquitoes, but I don't like them living in my attic nor do I like them intruding when I'm reading. I had one in our living room and now I'm very leary of them even when were outside at night.

You can always see cj ducking when I get out of the van at night until I get into the house.

Anyone who loves them can feel free to come take the ones who dive-bomb us in our pool and basically keep us from swimming after dusk. (Yes, I understand that they think there are bugs when they hear splashing. But who ever heard of bugs that splash???)

I wish I could just figure out a way tp keep hem at bay for an hour or two. They live in the horses stable (does not belong to us) and other than the dive-bombing, I don't mind them.

Kimber, maybe a bright light would keep them away from your pool.

CJ, I guess you're not going to make a bat house.
