What is Low Maintenance for Window Boxes?
We have several window boxes around the outside of the house and I'd very much like to plant flowers in them for the spring and summer, however, I have a brown thumb. I need something low-maintenance and hard to kill. Suggestions?

I always plant petunias in my window boxes. I just water them and they grow like crazy!
Mine are full sun. Maybe you could go to a local nursery if the ladies here don't give you some wonderful ideas
but I am sure they will answer your question

I suggest petunias, too. Also those "spike" things are pretty hardy (sorry I don't know the name!). Geraniums also do well in my containers -- and I tend to let them get pretty dry sometimes.
