    We are newly homesteaded...okay for real i dont know exactly what that means, but DH took house papers to somewhere and did something and now he says we are homesteaded...i really need to read up on it...does it have something to do with the taxes? lol...we dont own our land though, but will be looking for a small plot somewhere within the next couple of years....

    It sounds like he filled out paperwork for a homestead exemption (which will lower your property taxes).
