    Default Flowers for a pot?

I bought a lovely hand made pot in Cherokee, which I want to use to make a flower planter for my lead teacher as an end of the year gift. What kind of flowers should I use? I was thinking of filling with some ivy, and maybe using some begonias, but I don't know. I want this to be something she can use on her patio.

Begonias are good, maybe some geraniums..they are a nice potted flower. I like the idea of something trailing down the pot too.

Someone once gave me a pot with a packet of seeds of zinneas....it was fun to watch them grow.

Whatever you choose she will love such a thoughtful gift.
