    Default Yay! A pepper blossom!

One of my pepper plants has a pretty little blossom on it. Hooray! It isn't one of the ones I started from seed (I bought 2 pepper plants- each a variety I couldn't find seeds for locally) but it is still pretty darn exciting. Oher than my strawberries, it is the first thing in my garden to blossom. Go peppers!

Hooray! Sounds like you are like me --- I'm cruising my garden at least once a day to see what changes there might be.

I have to go out there every day just to keep the weeds at bay. They pop up overnight. I haven't mulched the veggies, so I have to pick the weeds out on a daily basis, or they will take over.

Also, I find it is helpful in keeping insect damage under control- I notice problems before they get too big.

Lastly, yes, I need to look every day- I'm anxious for growth, and I also harvest little bits here and there and pinch back my herbs.

Isn't it a wonderful thing to go outside every day for the distinct purpose of tending your vegetables. I love it. Kimber, how cold is it where you live now?

Cheryl- I am now proud mother to several pea blossoms, too. They are so pretty.

Rhonda- not cold at all here now. It is very, very warm, as a matter of fact. It has been in the 70s and 80s- very sunny and hot!
