    Question Praying Mantis

    I've got a baby praying mantis hanging out in my tropicals, is this good or bad?? I kind of like having him around

    Mantis is a good bug. They eat other bugs. Egg sacks are sold so that people can have bunches of them.

    Yes, I agree with Lacy, prayiing mantis are wonderful creatures. We have several on the front verandah pot plants. They seem to be territorial and stay on their own preferred plants. But if you guy is alone, he'll probably protect all your plants.

    Oh yea, i am glad they are a good bug to have around. I've only seen one so far. I may have more. I didnt know you could buy egg sacks. That is neat. Ive seen the bags of ladybug's before.
