Clueless on potatoes
I planted some potatoes earlier in the season. Well, DH tilled the garden AFTER that. I thought they were lost, but I have some growing. But I have never done potatoes. How do I know when they are ready to dig???

Cheryl, the tops of the plants will die back and at that point they are ready to dig. You can dig them earlier, but the plants are still growing the potatoes when the tops are green.

Thanks! I talked to my mom today and that is what she said too. They are still green, so I guess I'll be waiting awhile!
