What's your favorite kind of tree?
I love weeping willows, the way the branches dance in the wind just makes me smile. That tree just relaxes me.

I love cottonwood trees. Once long ago my mother told me that their leaves are like lots of clapping hands.

I like most weeping trees. I wanted a weeping willow but when we went to buy one we found out they are considered weeds here - they grow too well in waterways and use up the water. Grrrrrr.
I also like dogwoods, lemon myrtle and mango trees. My favourite indigineous tree is the morton bay fig, morton bay being a bay close to where I live.
Here is a pic of a morton bay fig, this tree is actually in America - in Santa Barbara and was planted in 1877.
