Is anyone planting bulbs this year?
I'm thrilled that we had the time to plant some this year. Or maybe I *made* the time, not sure lol
this year we planted:
Acccent daffodils they look like these here, but aren't as orange--the color is more of a salmon color.

Tulipa Lilyflowering Ballade (Lauren picked this one out, and it's one of my favorites from this year)

It's the light rose colored flower...you can't see it that well in the picture, but it's really pretty all trimmed in white
Tulip Golden artist (Kathryn picked this one--I'm not a fan of red & yellow together, but this is the one she wanted to get:

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said you made the time. Often it's the way with gardening but it's so worth while if you do make sure you do it.
Some of your links didn't work for me but I got the general idea. I really love those crocuses. I like the vibrant colours in most bulbs. We have a tough time growing bulbs like tulips, daffodils, freesias etc but I love them all. My sister is a florist and whenever she sends me flowers, it's usually tulips.
Enjoy your garden.

I've ordered some bulbs (??? what kind???) from a fund raiser at the kids' school --- can't wait for them to come in so I can get them planted. I've never had very good luck with tulips so I avoid those, but I'm eager to try new things.
I also do a lot of dividing and transplanting of the existing bulbs in the yard.~~Jean~~
