Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

Honeysuckle is very invasive. My advice would be to cut the top off the honeysuckle vines and put them in a plastic bag, tie it up and leave it in the sun for a few weeks. Don't throw it in the rubbish bin becausee you'll just be tranferring the honeysuckle problem to your local rubbish dump. Make sure the plants are dead before you throw them in the trash.

To kill the plants. After you've cut the vines down, spray the cuts with glyphosate (Roundup). BE VERY CAUTIOUS! Roundup is a dangerous poison. Don't use it in windy weather, make sure all your pets are inside and make sure it only goes on the plants you want dead. It's a herbicide and will kill any other plant it contacts. You might have to do this a number of times. Each time the vine shoots, cut the shoots off, recut the vine stem and spray with Roundup. You need a new cut for it to get into the plants tissues properly. If you can't use the spray, get a paint brush that you USE ONLY FOR THIS and paint the poison on.

Make sure you wear long sleeves and jeans when you use Roundup and wash your hands when finished. I hate to recommend Roundup but for woody weeds, it's probably your best bet.
