    Question Fruit trees?

Who has their own fruit trees? What types do you have?
I grew up with apple and pear trees and then when older my family had orange and grapefruit.
I am most curious about cherry and peach trees.

We have four pear trees and one plum tree. Two of the pear trees are three years old and one has produced pears .. a total of 3 or 4 I think.

The other trees were planted this year.

We live in central Texas.. so Citrus trees would not produce here.

Peach trees do well in the area, but require a lot of spraying and caring for is what I have heard.

I have a mango, lemon (meyer), washington orange, mandarin, bananas and I've sprouted an avocardo from seed which I might plant soon. I also have a macadamia tree.

I would lvoe to grow peaches but it's too hot here.

Oh, I am so jealous! We are hoping to get one in the not so distant future. We love mac nuts and were thrilled to find out they grow well here.

We have two old apple trees. We had a great crop this year of good sized apples but most of them were so wormy and scabby that we couldn't use them. We are trying to find an organic method of spraying them starting in the spring so that we can enjoy them.

I have an Apple tree but it's real old and the fruit has black spots on them. We plan on replacing it. A Cherry tree, a Peach tree. We want an Avacado, pecan, lemon, lime & Orange.

    Growing up Granddaddy had:
    Pear
    Fig
    Persimmon (sp)
    Apple
    Orange
    Lemon
    Lime
    Pomegrante (sp)
    Mango
    Plum
    Peach

He also grew all of our Veggies, I wish I had the space and time to do that for my family

We have a sweet cherry, a pie cherry, a summer apple and the cutest little peach tree that is about 2 feet high now (will not produce fruit for at least another 2-3 years).

What concentration does he/she use? Straight or diluted? My trees are huge!

You know, I have no idea. I will have dh ask him (or hopefully dh remembers!). The guy owns a nursery here and uses it on all his stuff there plus uses it on everything at his house. He's very big into organics and told dh he would not think of using anything else.
