Cool!!
My DH built our shed 2 years ago. I was pregnant with Kennedy & I didn't want to get up on the ladder to paint the peak. I left it to my DH, and, well, it's *still* not done.
I like the window.....we did that, too. We should have put some on the other side for better circulation, but we didn't. We haven't got it wired for electricity yet, either.
I like your lights.

Here's a picture of ours from last year. My herb bed looks much better now than when I took this picture.
Also, I noticed you've got a real door....I like it! Dh put a barn-looking door on ours, but you can't see it in the picture.

Jamee,
I love it, especially the color! With our association, we have to have the shed built just like the house, hence the siding
Yes, that was recycled from our front door when replaced it earlier this year. I want to put on it DH's Dawg House

Laura, your hubby did a great job, it's so useful & looks perfect there. I did notice your happy tomato plants, neighbors behind you were probably drooling over them.
Jamee, neat idea planting the herbs there.~*Darlene*~

The color is much darker than the color of our house.
It was a mis-tint....exterior even....and only $5!!!
We don't have an association.........our neighborhood is older. In my mom's association you can't even *have* a shed!

What a great job. Love seeing these pictures that our dh's have done.
Dh redid an old garage that was here and then added a gardening shed to the back. Ours doesn't look new because it's not. Windows were recycled from a old house that was torn down here and purchased for $50 and doors were all recycled from our local dump. The shingles were from a left-over job the local hardware store had done. He made the walls inside into 6 inch walls using economy studs. The insulation was purchased from $$ saved from a frugal challenge we had at another site 5 years ago. And the walls were chipboard he had picked up (free) from a contracting job he had done 6 years ago and had put in our basement in the city, saving it for a rainy day.
The addition has pellets for the floor and we used chipboard that was leftover from redoing the garage.
When we moved here, the garage had 2 doors which hung open, no windows (they were broke and boarded up) and a door in the back which was boarded up.
I painted it "Million Dollar red".
I couldn't resist the collar.
You'll notice 2 rain barrels stored for the winter months and our composter is there alongside my flowerbed.

I sometimes wish that we didn't have an association but other times, it helps keep the neighborhood in check. Our neighborhood is about 2 years old.
Darlene, I have 9 tomato plants, Yellow, Red and Green Peppers as well as jalepenos and two strawberry plants, (which are still producing yay)

Thanks ladies.
We don't have anyone telling us the size or color and we live in a small town with a large lot. Dh still thinks it isn't big enough with all the toys he has for his woodworking.
