My last "big" haul.
Finally decided today that if I don't get out and harvest most of what is left out there in my garden, I am going to lose it.
I went out and picked peppers (4 kinds- 2 sweet, 2 hot,) tomatoes, carrots, onions, leeks, bunching onions (did not pick all the onions) and harvested 3 kinds of mint, lemon balm, rosemary, lavender, sage, and parsley. I still have some things growing (the butternut squash that took forever) potatoes, and the herbs are still growing. I also have some tomatoes I am going to give another couple days. The peppers were doing pretty well consider there as been snow just a mile up the road from me for nearly a week. I was hoping to allow a couple of them to ripen to complete maturity so I could harvest some more seeds, but it just doesn't look like it is going to happen now.
Now I just need to finish cleaning everything up.... Luckily it is a gorgeous day so I definitely don't mind.
