ACK! I wasn't paying attention!
I have been so worried about stockpiling food and food preparation items for the winter, that I've been neglecting my other stockpiled goods.
Today, as Julia and I prepared to do the laundry, my bottle of detergent was empty, and so I went to my shelf to get more and found that I am down to 2 bottles of detergent! I haven't had to buy detergent in over a year! Now is not really a great time to be running out! So, I guess I need to slowly start rebuilding that part of my stockpile. I seem to be okay with all of the other household items. I still have enough shampoo/conditioner to last another year, am doing well with soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. That detergent just caught me off guard!
I think this afternoon I need to go down to the basement and do a good inventory of what's down there. We'll never make it through to September if I don't make sure I'm organized! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

BTDT! Just think, though, most people wouldn't have even had two bottles on hand.
A lot of folks would have had to run to the store and pay full price if their bottle had been empty this morning.
It sounds like the rest of your stockpile is in great shape. Detergent goes on sale a lot- that will be easy to stock up on in no time!

Count me in as one who would have had to run to the store for more. Your stockpile is awesome!

Oh, that is something I keep stocked up on. I use to have at least 2 extra on hand. Now, I have an entire cupboard full. I bet I have about 20 containers right now. All of which I got on sale, with coupons, super cheap.
