    Default Bulbs...

What bulbs is a must have in your garden? Mine would be Dahlias, and Iris... I think I will do a tulip/daffodil bed in the back yard this fall, but I am not sure yet....

I have some Iris bulbs, along with a few tulips. I must admit though they aren't my favorite because they die so quickly.

I like dahlias too, however you have to dig up the bulbs every year and it does get to be time consuming.

I planted about 150 tulip and muscari bulbs in the fall. If you wait till late oct or nov you can get them for 50% off. I have lots of iris, my Grandfather raised them and I have some of his. They bloom every year.

Daffodils only. Anything else seems to get dug up by squirrels.

I have never grown dahlias --- sounds like I should give them a try.

We have lots of daffodils and muscari and iris. And some "surprise" lillies. Basically the bulbs better be able to take care of themselves to grow in my yard! LOL
