If you don't garden, is there a specific reason why?

In the past, we haven't gardened due to cost (we had nothing at all and no money to purchase any), lack of time and of space.

I am hoping we can do a raised bed garden this year.

I do some flower gardening, but have not planted anything edible. We live in a chemical city and with all the dioxin talk and whatnot, I'm not really into planting stuff in the soil. I suppose I could do raised beds and I also could just lighten up and plant something. Afterall, there are tons of locally grown foods here. I just can't get to where I feel good about it.

I also prefer flower gardening.
