I have to many and I didn't buy a single one.

My mom and dad are antique dealers and they have to much stuff so mom gives me stuff to hold so I have a bunch of lamps. She comes everyonce and awhile and takes some away and leaves a few more.

I have a few that I picked up at garage sales, none quite that pretty tho. I don't burn em, but I have oil in case we need it in a black out. I don't care for the soot they make. If you burn em too often they will make your ceiling black!

I have several that I use during black outs. We have a friend that collects oil lamps. His are all so beautiful. His collection is mostly old oil lamps. I see the newer ones at yard sales sometimes.

We got an high electric bill this month so we have taken to using our 2 at night, after the kids are in bed. We are too nervous to keep them lit when they are running about. Mine are cheapies too. Im going to buy more at Wal Mart and Dollar General Store as I can find the money. I just cant afford an $200 electric bill anymore.

The one in the picture is beautiful, my luck though is my kids would break the pretty one LOL

I have one that belonged to my grandparents (not sure how old the lamp is). I can remember it at their house when I was just 4 or 5. I don't use it now - I have it displayed up on a plant shelf in my dining room.

This is definitely an interesting thought though as a way to keep the electric bill down.

I have four I use during the winter. I love to sit around at night when it's so cold out and just have lamp light. I can only use them sparingly though cause I like to read and I'm not Abe Lincoln!

I don't have any problem with breaking the lamps and I hope I don't cause they are very old but I have trouble with the globes. A cleaning girl broke one and ds broke another. I can't find any around here. I keep checking the thrift stores though so maybe I will get lucky!

That blue lamp is so pretty. Mine are all clear glass. I fill them different colors of oil. My favorite is the red!

I have 5 nice oil lamps.....good thing my husband doesn't know what I do on ebay!....LOL. I am looking at a pair of oil lamps that go on the wall......sigh......I think I am wishful thinking here They sure come in handy when the electricity gets knocked out in the summer and winter! So that is my excuse for having them.

That lamp is so pretty! I have never owned a oil lamp before. Perhaps we'll look into it. Our energy bill is so high every month. I wonder if this would help

I have a couple of oil lamps that I've picked up at antique dealers. We use them on a regular basis. The kids love it and so do I.

I love the one you pictured though. What a wonderful color.

I have a cheap one from the Dollar Store. It's just clear but I can get the oil in different colors. I love them - I think they are beautiful!
