Question Do you have a trellis in your garden

At present I don't, however dh has found some plans for one and started to make me one. I'm so excited. It will also have 2 benches attached to it that you can sit on.

I had a trellis for cucumbers in the vegetable garden last summer and it worked well. I have one very sad trellis for a clematis --- really need to replace that thing.

I love the looks of the wooden teepee type trellises for beans and the like --- wish I could convince DH to make one or two for me.

Technically speaking, I guess I do, but it is just a plain metal one. I'd like to replace it with a wooden trellis/gate from plans that I found onlince. Can't afford the supplies right now, otherwise I'd have had it two years ago when I found the plans.

    I don't plan on it.

Last year we made a really cool trellis from copper tubing and elbow joints. Dh drew up a plan on grid paper and figured out all the cuts, sections, corners, etc. He cut the pipe and I put it together and then we soldered the joints. We have clematis growing on it.

Oh, and I guess we technically have another trellis that is actually an old tree snag that we dragged out of the lake, stood up on it's roots (it's like drift wood, about 10 ft. tall) and we have a clematis growing on that too...

We kind of like that *eclectic* garden look

Our garden is virtually all trellis! It is only a square of concrete so we've put lots of trellis up for privacy and to zone off the different areas.

I hope to spend much more time in the garden this year and start to use the trllis for more than hanging laundry on! I have obtained quite a few climbing plants and hope to get them into the raised bed soonish to start to give the place a bit more shape.

Yes, the trellis is painted red.

I do have one, but it's nothing fancy. We have one with honeysuckle growing on it. I'd love to get one with a bench; that sounds really nice
