Fiddleheads?
Does anyone eat them? I heard they are wonderful to eat. If you do eat them, how do you cook them?
In case you don't know what they are, they are the young coiled leaves of the Ostrick fern and come out in April and May.

They are good but you have to time it just right or you miss your opportunity as they'll be unfurrled. I like to saute mine in butter & garlic. My yard is full of them in the spring.

I saw Martha cook them. They looked delicious. She did the butter and garlic thing like our own Martha, Darlene Stewart.

2012 Goals
Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
Cut down on all unnecessary things.
Free is best.
Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
FIND A NEW JOB!!!
