    Busy day today.

Rob and Julia are at church right now. When they return, we'll have breakfast. Along with the winds came some snow last night, and quite frankly, I'm so big and awkward right now, I don't want to take Patrick out in it to ShopRite for the weekly shop. So, I think I may take both kids with me and do it tomorrow, since there is no school due to Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday.

Patrick and I have done three loads of laundry. When Julia comes home, I may do a little baking.

I need to clip todays coupons later, also. Ooh, and I have to type up my notes for my lesson on Tuesday. It's my third observation and it's with our new curriculum director, so I'm a bit nervous.

At 2:00, we have my neices birthday party. I need to wrap her presents. I also want to clean up the playroom and get the laundry put away later.

The nice thing is, we'll eat at the party, so I don't have to worry about dinner tonight. And, my parents invited us out last night, so we didn't have cook or pay last night. Nice treat!

    Hello.

Not much going on here! Cleaning and getting ready for the week. I may go out to Dollar General later, to pick up some things. I have a ton of books to read, so will catch up on that today.

Dh is out on errands again. He's having to make a return to Lowe's (something he bought for work yesterday) because not everything was in one of the boxes. It's frustrating for me because it's work-related and taking away from us being together as a family yet again today.

I didn't get all my laundry done yesterday because I was blessed with the luxury of a nap yesterday afternoon. I'll get that started soon - not sure what else will get accomplished today.

Today, I made breakfast. So, now the kitchen needs to be cleaned up. I've got to clean the floors today.

There's laundry to put away, and wet clothes to hang up. I'm going to finish up with the living room today. Yesterday, I spent a lot of time listing things on ebay. I have an enormous expense coming up next month so I need to sell as much as possible.

Maybe I can finish up a closet clean-out today.

MLK day isn't a holiday for my school so I'll be working tomorrow. So, I have a lot to get down today. I just get off the computer right now

    Godd Afternoon homesteaders!

I'm not quite sure what I'll get done today. I am feeling oh so lazy! lol I got to sleep in and Michael made coffee and put away the clean dishes.

I should get laundry going as it is to be nice today and we could hang it out. I'll try to do a few loads today.
Alex and I have been Knifty Knitting all day.
We got a new movie yesterday. Bride and Predjedice, it is very good. It's a Bollywood movie.
Well, I'll get off now. Have a good day all

I just wanted to pop in and say 'hi' - I haven't been posting to this thread very much. I just haven't felt very homestead-y lately, I guess. More suburban-y.

I did bake bread last week and I'm working on planning the garden. I have plans for this week to do some freezer cooking (OAMC-style).

    Talk to you all later.

I have been trying to keep busy today. I got in the cleaning mood this weekend. I got alot done and I am so glad. I just hope it can stay that way. I am almost finished with laundry. My last load is in the wash.

Dakota had a friend spend the night last night. They had a blast. I went out and purchased pizza's. No, it wasn't frugal, but it saved my sanity. I made pancakes for breakfast because that is what they requested. We had a box of pizza left from last night that I placed in the fridge and they ate that for lunch.

DH had to work today. I took him and one of his co-worker lunch.

Today I did the grocery and personal shopping. That is always so much fun. Did a load of laundry and have that hanging on the sweater dryer over a vent. Did some work. Now I have laundry to fold and coupons to cut out.

I had big plans for today, but to be honest, ShopRite really wore me out this morning.

    I'm hoping to:
    put all laundry away
type up my notes for tomorrow's lesson
    empty dishwasher
break 4,500 posts at the village
get all my trades ready to go out
play some games with Julia while Patrick naps
clean up the playroom with the kids

Amy = get some rest. There will always be laundry and chores to do
Indian Princess, Congratulations on the grandson! Nothing better than babies in my opinion

Well, yesterday I actually broke down and cleaned the house. Did some dusting, vacumning and general cleaning. Then I mixed up 2 batches of laundry soap. I also sent in a survey, cut coupons and did some ironing.
Then last night I attended DH belated Christmas party. It was a nice evening with great food, drinks and mystery theater for entertainment. Considering I did NOT want to go and normally hate these parties, I had a great time! So that was a nice surprise.
This morning I was up and out early for a doctor appointment. It went OK other than a serious discussion about my weight ( need to lose it baby!) He ordered a mammogram, bone density test and blood work which was to be expected. I think I need to make 2006 my year of taking care of my health ( since I have neglected it so much) Therefore, I pledge to actually go and get the tests and blood work for a change. ( I have not had blood work done since 2003!)
I also stopped off at the library and picked up the first three of the Elm Creek Quilt books. Since I read the one for the book club this month, I am hooked!
Today I plan to play on the village until noon only ( have to make a drop dead stop point or I would never get off! ) then clean out the kitchen pantry and scrub the kitchen floor. Its filthy! No joke folks....its in bad sorry shape right now!
I have meat thawing and plan to make pork chops and chicken for dinner tonight, veggie soup for tomorrow and brown some burger for tacos later in the week. I figured since today is a work holiday, I may as well spend some time preparing for the week to come. Doing this will give me the basics for meals for the remainder of the week. I will then just need to cook the sides and toss a salad. Should be able to get several lunches out of that also. Not OAMC but working up to OAWC ( once a week cooking! )
Tonight if I dont poop out I hope to work on my bread scrap booking page so I can get that in the mail on time.
I also need to plot out the rest of the month. I am finding if I look at the calendar every month and set a goal of finishing at least one task per weekend, I motivate myself a bit more than normal. For Jan. I planned to clean the pantry (today) and clean out my closet ( 1/21/06) The last weekend of the month it is off to visit DGD and babysit! YEAH!!!!
Hope everyone has a great productive day with lots and lots of fun in it!

    GM all!
Today I have already done a couple loads of laundry. It is to be sunny and warm today. It is already almost 60* so I want to try to hang some clothing on the line. I also want to try and get my shop put together. My dad gave me a drill press for Christmas and I got a bench for it last week. I'd like to move my shop to the other side of the basement. There is a bit more room there and it won't be in the way of the laundry area.

This afternoon I am planning on walking all the dogs. Alex has pitching lessons this evening, so that means an early dinner. Wow I guess I have quite a bit planned for today. I'd better get moving.

    Have a great day all!
