I have 1 set of windchimes that were given to us by a neighbor when the went on a cruise.........they brought them back as a thank you for picking up their mail and taking care of their pets. They have been there for many years, I don't even hear them half the time anymore (the windchimes)!!

I have a few sets hanging on our side porch. I enjoy listening to them. I would LOVE to get one of those really nice bamboo sets with the loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg chimes.

2 outside and a glass one in my bedroom that my father had made for me. For me the sound is soothing.

I have some in my kitchen to match my decor. It's really cute. Sometimes if the window is open it'll chime.

No. Although I like them at other people's homes, the noise would drive me crazy.

Nope not me either, most noises don't bother me, but wind chimes do.

nope I'm one of the drive me nuts group.
I was going crazy when a neighbor got a set, and hung them on her deck just outside our bedroom window (houses are close together here).
They clattered and clanged and kept waking me and dh for several nights till we got a real howler of a windstorm.
her bedroom was on the other side of her house, but I noticed they suddenly disappeared.
I quietly gave thanks for large mercies, and it's been mercifully quiet since.
