What's the earliest you've planted?
The earliest here is the first year I moved to the country. We had a beautiful, warm spring and I was able to plant everything by May 2nd. Usually we can't plant here until the long weekend in May, which is around the 21st.

I get everything in the ground as soon as I can, which is usually too soon. I really need to get the ball rolling on my seed starting. I generally start a few more than I need, then transplant some out a little early, though I can't give you actual dates.

Usually around Mother's Day (mid-May). This year I'm going to try some earlier stuff. I'll post it in my garden thread.

Mid-March and it was touch and go! But then again everyone around here strives to plant potatoes on St Patricks Day (3/17). We are lucky if our garden is dry enough at that time.
