How successful have you been with...
The Hostas that are made to plant in direct sunlight? I want to plant more Hostas although I don't have a lot of shaded areas. In my seed catalogue, they have a couple of new Hosta plants you can plant in direct sunlight. I'm wondering how they will do.

I'm not familiar with them, CJ. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say.

I don't know anything about them, either. I have average, everyday hostas all over my property, and many of them get what is considered full sun (6-8 hours a day.) They are groiwing just fine. I actually have one that is the most in the sun, and it is huge- I call it the Incredible Hulk (othertimes it is referred to as Jolly Green Giant) and I keep having to divide it and give it away, so the sun doesn't seem to be doing it any harm.
Do you know anyone who might divide some regular hostas for you so you can give them a try?
