Default Feels like a old time homestead..after blizzard photo

    Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new here but I've really enjoyed this section of FV forums. We had a pretty bad blizzard last night in St. John's Newfoundland and I wanted to share a photo.

Though we live in an apartment I sure felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere last night. Apparently we're getting another storm like this Monday Night too.

Yep we're keeping warm though I did go outside a bit to help dh shovel. We have nice neighbors and they helped us cut a path from our walkway to their driveway so we wouldnt have to shovel the bulk of that snow you see in the pic.

I called my mom in Oregon and told her about the snow and she replied "where the heck did that man move you too!!!" lol

I heard the east coast was getting some big weather lately! Nice to see your other half on the end of a shovel!!! keep that path!

I remember when I was in the BC interior I'd start the winter with a biiiiiiiiig wiiiiiiiiiiide path and by the end of the winter it would be like 18inches wide!

I have to say, I miss the snow. We don't get it on the Charlottes (or we might get a dusting)

It really gets interesting and you don't know where to put the snow it gets so high. Hope you get the time & it's good packing to make a snowman or have a snowball fight.
