Growing greener grass
I was wondering if anyone has any tips on growing a healthy lawn and keeping it that way?

A website I absolutely love is www.jerrybaker.com This guy is absolutely incredible. If you click on "bookstore", you'll see he has a book all about growing lawns. His books a kinda pricy, but well worth it. Everything he does is all organic, and all his tonics and what not are made from stuff under your kitchen sink.
If you go to the website, scroll down and click on "tonics and tips/FAQ" in the left margin. He gives some recipies for your lawn there- and the jist I get from it is that in order to have a green lawn for the summer- you need to take care of it and prep it in the fall.
I have his Old Time Gardening Wisdom book- and it hasn't let me down yet, so that's why I highly recommed you checking out his lawn book. HTH!!

Here in Ohio if we had some rain we might even have grass. Where I'm at we have not cut grass since May. There is nothing to cut. IT is all dead. The only thing growing is the weeds and you can pull them out.
